Access & Permission Requests (Zendesk, Azure DevOps, Insights, Distribution Lists, SharePoint)

Most access and permission requests follow the same pattern: submit a request to IT, get manager approval, then IT provisions access and sends setup steps.

Zendesk portal access: email MCiITSupport@mccorp.com requesting access, get manager approval, then IT assigns the license and provides login steps.

Insights security groups (view permission): same flow — request to IT, manager approval, then IT grants the permission and shares access instructions.

Azure DevOps access: contact IT or the DevOps admin with your email and the level of access needed. You'll receive an invitation email once added.

New email distribution list: submit a service request specifying the list name, purpose, and initial members, then follow up with IT if you don't hear back in the expected timeframe.

Removing a user from a SharePoint site: submit a request to IT identifying the user and the site; IT (or the site owner) removes the permission.
